Looks like Night Dive Studios (the guys who obtained the rights to System Shock 2 and brought the game to digital distribution services) have released an indie game of their own entitled Spirits of Xanadu. I haven't had a chance to play it for myself but it looks somewhat interesting from the few previews and reviews that I've seen or read. Anyways, I figured that I would share since this may be something of interest to everyone here.

Had a watch of the kotaku video. That game has System Shock written all over it. More specifically the second game. Has grav shafts, robots, audio logs and space. Looks alright.

Possibly they couldn't get past the old Shock games being some of the few that have rollerskates in them?

Anyway, the game is(http://store.steampowered.com/app/312230/) available on Steam for 15 euros/dollars, but it's pretty short, apparently. Like, two hours, tops. It's probably a little bit on the side of too pricey to pick up on a whim, unless you're really hankering for a System Shock like game. Might want to wait for a sale, otherwise.
