Double Agent was the first DUDEBRO entry that I remember in the series. Probably because it was the first 360 game in the series post-CoD4, and we all know that from that moment the 360 became a haven for idiots.

The 360's always been a haven for idiots, though -- spillover from the Xbox1. I noticed a sharp increase in gamer braindeath when the Xbox1 and Halo came out.

I dunno. As a huge Splinter Cell fan, I really enjoyed Conviction, which can be played very stealthily for the most part. It does force you into firefights but only in very few places. This looks more of the same, Conviction 2. You can still play ghost-like, or shoot everyone, which as we know is no fun.

I gave up on Convcition halfway through the game and this looks like the same but with even less stealth and more action. I think I'm not gonna bother with this one.

Can be ghosted. So looks like that old Ghost Challenge thread will be revived yet again! You in, Malleus?
If it has checkpoint-only save system, then I'm absolutely NOT in. Funny reading my comment from a year ago though, looks like they (kind of) realized they went off track with Conviction - this preview didn't sound bad. We'll see.

I spoke to a Ubisoft guy at Rezzed about it and he said they knew about all the criticism that Conviction got and that they had tried to address all the issues.
It looked pretty good running on a high end PC. No light meter, it's all dynamic shadows and whatnot and there is a hardcore oldskool mode of some sort.

Man, I am all over this. Ghost thread rise from your grave!

So the game is about to be released. Anyone getting their copies right away?

Me. I loved Conviction, and Spies vs Mercs is back so no way I'm missing this one
