Hi Taffers,
I'm having an issue with my map, I just added a big air brush, and now when I try to portalize, it gives me these errors:
ERROR: SplitPortalPolyhedronByPlane: Polyhedron didn't cross plane
ERROR: portalization failed, WR was cleared
I already tried to do the technique with the hilight_snap etc. console commands to no avail, but I just found out that if I move the air brush to a different side of the map, I don't get the error anymore. Is it because I got passed the 1000 with one of the coordinates??

It could be that. If you're using the NewDark version of Dromed (1.21 currently), it draws a red box around the perimeter so you can see how close you are.

I'm currently using v1.19
If that is indeed the case (because it does go over the 1000, but I didn't know there was a limit), how can I easily select all my brushes to move it a little more to the center?

Create an area brush around the whole thing, click on Multibrush Me, and drag it like a normal brush. Once you've moved it you should round off the XYZ values, to whole numbers at the very least. If you've already aligned textures, you should round off to the nearest 8, 16 etc depending on the textures you've aligned.

With newdark (1.21 at least, not sure for older versions) you can set the worldsize. The (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141708) DromEd Basic toolkit can do this through the "Extra" menu, but the command is "world_size". I think the limit is 2000.

Another way to cause that error is to have already-complex terrain split by another very large brush. I had an outdoor space defined by two large air cylinders, one right on top of the other. In the center of that area, I had a complex and high-poly series of archways. The error occurred because the border between the two large cylinders cut right through the archways. When I enlarged one cylinder and shrunk the other so that the archways were entirely inside just one large brush, the error went away.

In Dromed.cfg:
; show world limit (i.e. +/- 1000) grid lines in 2D viewports
show_world_limits
Same as R Soul mentions but you don't need to really move the brush to get it to snap. Grab it, give it a nudge with the mouse and let go. It will snap into place. I had this error when I moved a multi-brush (MB). Every wedge that had been rotated needed to be re-snapped. They were all off by .001. In fact, ANY rotated brush will cause the error during a MB move.

Hmm this is odd, I downloaded the Dromed Basic Toolkit, but whenever I click on the Edit World Size button, nothing appears to happen.

I'm confused also. I didn't know there was such a button.

It's in the new menu. Extra > Set World Size
It says in modders_notes not to use it unless it's necessary, so I think it's best to move the mission and then run the grid snapping commands.
