Not to be confused with Eidos-Montréal, until further notice.

Yup, the Eidos brand will apparently live in the names of its developer studios. However, this still makes me somewhat sad - Eidos as a publisher is a name I still associate with some of my favourite games and franchises.

Now we can look at the name on the box, and know its ghost lives on, even if weakly. I wouldn't be bothered by it if people weren't LOSING their jobs.:(

Well, it would be pity if Eidos Montreal would be affected somehow by this event :(. I mean cancelling their third, unnamed project. Or even worse:eek:... No, I shut my mouth up.
Maybe new boss will just rename Eidos Montreal to, say, Square Enix Montreal or Square Enix Canada, not more?

Although I know july is a great time for vacations in Montreal, timing is just too wrong. (Stephane left for his vacations last week..)

Oh, you may be in (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=121) The Vault archives from when there was a major server change-over, and most of the links were broken. You may not even be able to search by your username in there.
I
know I've seen your username.:thumb:

I think most people here are trying to comfort themselves with the thought that Square would not exercise any creative influence upon Eidos Montreal and the games currently being developed there.
