It must be stopped. Console developers know nothing about true gaming. They should cancel Thief 4. Not to mention that selling Thief to creators of shitty games like Final Fantasy is a disgrace.

Fortunately Square-Enix will not be developing Thief4... nothing has changed as far as who is developing it (Eidos Montreal).
I won't worry until the demo comes out...

Hey, if Squeenix is developing T4 I wouldn't really mind. They've been doing epic steampunk since way before LGS anyway.

Consoles aren't going away. Neither are companies that make games for them. Face it, the industry is full of console gaming, and therefore it's the main platform to focus on for gaming companies. So it's stupid to think that they should just stop Thief 4 because you hate consoles.
Not that I necessarily think it should or shouldn't be made for consoles - the above was how I see the developers looking at the situation. Personally, I'm fine with it being made on consoles, as long as it doesn't ruin the PC version of the game. Now, that's wishful thinking. :erg: I just hope we're all wrong about the new game making "deadly shadows look good."

And according to reports of the guys who were at the EM open day, DX3 is multi plat, so what are the chances Thief isn't?
