People can install the iv46 codec by hand to get the videos working. Just google "iv46 codec" for the download.

We will, but usually you can get faster response if you PM me on GOG forums (even though I'm not on Support Team).
That said, movies should work without additional tweaking.

I don't actually have the gog version but I've been following gog because I've used the service before for other games and I was curious about thief's addition to it. The message I mentioned was sent through the contact form on the support page.
Also, I thought there were lots of people providing feedback on the videos not working. I guess you're saying that was fixed in a recent patch, unless for some reason that fix is not working for some people?

My mistake, I thought you meant Thief 2 not TG.
Regarding TG, the build was updated and .dll registration is now handled during installation.
If the issue still appears for some, it's usually caused by UAC, overzealous AV software or conflicting codec packs. Nevertheless, we're monitoring all feedback, be it through forums or (mostly) Support tickets.
