oh, well i completely missed those. and i just killed the haunt so i guess no need for them. im not into trying to ghost missions, i try to knock out anyone that is allowed in a mission and kill any undead or beasts.

Somehow I get stuck in the places others don't. The first problem was with the masks. I knew I had to get one, but had no idea where. Then I read, that it's outside, somewhere higher up and I discovered 4 masks. I still had no particular idea how to get there, since I couldn't rope up there, so I climbed there. Was I actually meant to do that?

Anyway, got the 4 masks, cleansed them in the water, did the room just fine, but now for the 4th lever in that 4 fires-sharp arrows room. I got the mirror, but don't seem to have any place to use it yet. I got the 4-lights room completely dark, but the arrows are still kind of angry at me. :(

Nice mission, though.
I liked the puzzles in Ominous Bequest better (played it just yesterday for the first time), there I actually found the required items for the most part and needed help only in like 2 places. :) Anyway... enough offtopic. Help meh.
P.S. Covered only that 1 place in spoilers just to let everyone know where they start. I don't have time atm. to cover it all.

You have to lit all four of them :p When you got to that area you'll know where to use the mirror.

And for the record, the expected way to get the masks is to shoot an arrow at them and knock them down.

Regarding the two secrets, even though I found the two secret switches, I don't find the space opened by the switch in the niche before the inverted tree room. I hear a stone door opening, but I don't see it.
Someone help, plz!
Later edit: I founded it immediately after posting here. :))
First time I thought and I looked after the stairs, but didn't notice the opening, or perhaps I confused it with the entrance to the lower level.

dml courtesy Unna (& updated by Glypher) to fix a very old script that prevents a floor tile lighting up and which may also prevent the Easter Egg working. dml also fixes a few Newmantle issues, and prevents plays drop essential keys.
Note: T2Fix players do not need to delete any old scripts, but all other players will need to delete script.osm and tnhscript.osm (from your FM folder, not your main Thief folder) otherwise the dml will not work.

What a wonderful mission! I love the riddles and original things like having to shoot the masks down :D
It is definitely worth my while to play through all of the contest missions cause I found this one :)
