@Verak
"
THREE numbers can be found in this message.
Remember them,
FOR they are crucial
TO pass unharmed."
But you don't need to do it that way. You can do this instead:
shoot a rope arrow into the wood above the trapdoors and step forward. You'll attach to the rope. Finally jump to the other side.
Excellent, thanks. I missed the
to!
:thumb:

Very impressed with this FM, cannot believe how complex it is for such a short competition, but:
I'm stuck with the
mask
. I've
knocked them down
. I've tried to
fit them to the statue on the ledge in the "sun room"
. But nothing happened. I also tried to
dip them in the fount in the graveyard
but it didn't seem to do anything - could this be because I
dropped a cup
in there earlier
?
Any ideas?
You should see an orange particle effect when you drop a mask into the fountain. When you pick it up again, the mask should be named Mask of the Morning.
I don't think the cup can cause a bug (but then, anything's possible ;)). Just make sure nothing else is in the fountain and drop the mask so it lands in the center of the basin (with an audible splash).
Would you believe I couldn't drop it?
I was trying to "throw" or "use" the item using the mouse buttons.
Used the "drop" button and bingo, it worked :D
Thanks for the help.
Really enjoying this :D

...I'm curious if anybody successfully ghosted it....
Just finally got around to playing this one (My old hard disk died just shortly after I started it the last time :( ), and I was very impressed.
The mission was beautifully designed and atmospheric, and the puzzles were well thought out and hinted (I was able to solve them all myself, though the
humility puzzle didn't seem to work for me when I tried it - though it did after I was told what to do and tried again).
I also managed to successfully ghost the mission. The
red tiles were a little tricky, but I soon realised that I had to use
the haunt to do half the work for me. ;)
This mission gets top marks from me; it certainly deserved its position as first place in the contest!

Yeah, I was curious if anybody would figure out how to make the haunt cooperate. Congrats on ghosting it.
I wasn't thinking and saved after getting one of the masks stuck on a ledge.
Do I need every one of them? I got the map.
SinisterShadow on 21/10/2006 at 19:53
You only need one of them.
Is it's only purpose to get the map?
