Thrice hath Brother Nathaniel turned the other cheek to becalm Brother Solomon's fury. Finally at peace, Solomon rewarded his magnanimous placator by turning his back upon him. Apoplectic with rage, Brother Nathaniel reciprocated and vented his fury. Brother William, furious for being disturbed from his meditation span on his heel, to placate Nathaniel. Solomon realised he had erreth, and, remorseful, turned to thank both Nathaniel for his forbearance and William for his diplomacy. Nathaniel placated turned to greet his brother. William returned to his meditation. Here endeth the lesson.

Thank you Nightwalker, for all your help. I would never have finished it otherwise. It is easier when you start over.:) Great Mission.

Where is the switch that gets me out of the room with the coffins and the sealed door?
Thanxs,
H. Vincent:confused: :p
Found that switch, now I need the Water Talisman.

Thank you very much for your swift response. It was the gen.osm file that
was causing my problem. I had to start again of course, but what a great
mission for such a small size. Congratulations to the author, and thank,s
again.
Here are some hints:
1. There are two secrets in the first room.
2. There are two secrets in the secret passage between the first and second room.
3. There are four secrets in the second room.
4. There is one secret in the second secret passage.
5. There is a coin in one corner of the main crypt.
6. There is a coin on top of one of the "coffins" in the main crypt.
7. There is a hammer by the side of one of the "coffins" in the main crypt..
Can't remember any more off the top of my head.
Those items in #5 and #6 are tempting, but with the more alert thieves down there, I'll pass. :) I'm settling with 1197 of 1200 loot and 19 of 21 secrets...

Great fun, this mission. The only spoiler I needed was the
switch in the confession booth.
Man, I must be getting good at this Thief thing.
Need to do it on Ghost.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to play this mission yet, but it was brought to my attention that it needs my custom scripts (plus VK's and Telliamed's), even though this is not mentioned in the readme.
In any case, Jason has been kind enough to add NVScript to the collection at thiefmissions.com, which is here: (

A little late, I know, but I'm playing this FM now. While I can appreciate the author's obvious skill, I must wholeheartedly agree with the previous opinions that it is unnecessarily difficult.
Anyway, I might be stuck, or perhaps I've found a bug(?). I'm at the 2-way junction where one side leads to the
earth talisman. The other side has a closed gate, and its lockbox is lying on the floor in front of it (broken?). I have a key which opens this lockbox, but when the lock is opened, the gate does not open. Obviously, this is preventing me from entering this area which I'm assuming contains my only remaining talisman of water.
Is there another way I need to find into this area, am I missing a switch, or is this a bug?
Thanks in advance. :)
