Make sure you havent played the puzzle yet.
Assuming you have the three statues : one in fron of you, one to the left and right of you and the ladder behind you.
From memory the statue on the left should be Nathaniel, Centre statue is William, and Soloman is on right.
What you need to do is...
* Frob Nathaniel three times
* Frob Soloman once
* Frob Nathaniel once
* Frob William once
* Frob Soloman once
* Frob Nathaniel once
* Frob William once

Sorry, it doesn't work. I also tried it the other way around but got stuck where I first did.
I'm really, really stuck here ......
I gues the statues are in place now, since they don't light up anymore ....?
What's next?!!!
Please help ?

What difficulty are you playing on?
I might replay this one to check my instructions

OK replayed on easy diffuiculty...
Soloman is on left.
Nathaniel is on right. (my mistake)
William is centre.
Let them spin around fully before frobbing again.
Frob nathaniel three times
Then frob soloman once.
Then William once
Then Soloman
Then Nathaniel
Then William

OK. Thanks!
I did all that. Still get the same result: the statues are "fixed" and nót frobbable again.
Nathanial is standing straight forward, William is in meditation again, facing the wall, and Soloman is facing William.
What should happen now?

Some people encountered a problem with these statues. Even if done properly, the teleport didn't work. I found a reference in the "Keyhunt" thread that solved the problem for several people.
Quote:
WildWilbur, the trouble you're having is due to a wrong version of the gen.osm file in your Thief directory. I included the right version in the Keyhunt zip, but for some reason DarkLoader doesn't extract it when you install the mission.
To get rid of the problem, revert back to the original missions in DarkLoader, close it, and then extract the gen.osm from the Keyhunt zip and copy it into your Thief directory (thus overwriting the version you currently have).
Unfortunately, that means you'd have to restart the mission, but at least you won't have that problem with any other FM in the future. I'm sorry about the inconvenience.
Just take the gen.osm file from the "Keyhunt" zip file and follow the instructions quoted above. As it says, it will require starting again from the beginning of the mission but it goes much more quickly when you know where things are and how they work.

Hi Nightwalker, I saw this reply earlier, but I must confess that I need some "quality time" to try this. I'm not sure if I can do what you're suggesting, but I'll try.
It's such a "not done feeling" when you can't play throughout a mission.:nono:
Thanks for all the support, Taffers.

I just started playing this mission.
Of course I started by removing those crates and --
ARGGH!!! :eek:!! Anonymous, who ever you are, you really shouldn't.;) I had a near fatal heart attack! Anyway, so far looking good...
Edited maybe 40 minutes later:
Well, I've managed
to get all but two of the coffins open. I've also found a mysterious scroll and the store room key without reading any hints from this thread.
It must be my lucky day. Unfortunately, my luck has run out, I'd better start reading the posts...
Edited a lot later:
Wow. What a mission. First, I didn't have the right scripts. Once I got them, the going got a bit easier, but only a bit easier :) . I started out on Ghost but
after reading first on this thread about having to use crates to get the Air Talisman, I gave up and restarted the game on Warrior. About halfway through I realized that yes, there has got to be a way to get rope arrows. After reading the threads again, I reloaded an old Expert save game and was finally able to finish the game. Wow! :thumb:
I decided to replay the game on Cutpurse, for strategic reasons. I
thought, let the thieves kill the haunts, I can always knock them out, and then loot the place, taking my time.
The end result: I finished with 1996 loot and 19/21secrets. Although I don't think I would have gotten that far without the help from the forum. A really neat piece of puzzle solving. :cool: Congratulations! And finding those secret switches got somewhat easier after you developed a feeling for their appearance and probable placement.

Yes, I understand. I played the Keyhunt FM again (this time ending it right):cheeky: ......... but :eww: I don't know how ánd where to extract that gen.osm from this mission and put it ....... in where???
Sorry, I'm such a Dombo here .....
:idea: Can anyone please teach me. I think it's simple, but I don't know where to begin.
