I've just tried a fresh install as well - first time I've done so in a couple of years, admittedly, but I haven't had to before! - and it hasn't made the slightest bit of difference. Either Nightwalker has a different version of the mission or any related scripts, or there's a bug in the mission. :(

Try jumping into the "coffins". You can't get any closer than that!
Trust me, i've jumped in and out of those coffins, crouched down and so forth, but the thing just won't highlight!

Thank you, Phillys! I just need the Fire Talisman now. I am in the room but can't reach it. How do you get close enough to grab it?
mickey70 on 18/3/2006 at 20:54
yes Phillys, much obliged. many many secret switches in this one!
Nightwalker,
I mantled onto one of those pyramid things and could leap from there and grab it.
now, if only I could figure out
what the CODE not the CODE means!
:sly:

Thank you, mickey70. I'd just come back to post that I'd gotten, exactly the same way you did it. Now, on to the next part of the puzzle! This one sure has a lot of gameplay for the size of the mission. Extremely well planned puzzles (though perhaps a little too hard) though I'm not sure if I'd have enough nerve to try it on Expert.
I'm stuck again, too. I got down into the room below the Talisman one, found the clue mentioned above about CODE not CODE, found the code mechanism and used the ceremonial hammer on the statue to break the glass covers on the floor but don't have a clue what code to use. Does it have something to do with the way the gold hammers are arranged in the floor panels?

I can't frob the
ship's wheel
either. I did however managed to pickup 1 little hammer, but that was it.:(
To bad I can't get any further because it seems a fun mission to play and yes, the books made me laugh out loud.:laff:
Nightwalker on 18/3/2006 at 21:30
I zipped up a quicksave from the point right after that wheel has been frobbed. I can email it to anyone who wants to see if it will work for them.
azrarhn on 18/3/2006 at 21:35
Oh cool, could you send me one?
Nightwalker on 18/3/2006 at 21:35
On it's way!
