After getting into the vault and getting all the loot the mission ended right there are the Expert level. :-( I did not get the secret though.

That's what happens if you never find Tanner's journal. Reading it gives you extra objectives.

Cool, I finally get to post in my own misison thread. ;) In any case, thanks to everyone who voted for this FM, I had no expectations of finishing in the top 5, let alone 2nd place. I really just wanted to complete the damn thing.

This was an idea I had for a long time (tunneling underground to get into a vault), and this contest seemed like the perfect time to try it out. In a way, it's a total cop out in that I really didn't have to come up with any kind of serioius architecture of any kind - it's just a bunch of dirt covered dodecahedrons thrown together. Don't look at this thing in dromed, it's a mess.

I screwed up right at the end of the building period, after my betatesters worked so hard to make sure my misison was running smooth. At the last minute, I [SPOILER]boobytrapped the safes near the vault, which allowed Garrett to reach the vault panel without finding Tanner, who introduces more objectives.[/SPOILER] Whoops. Lesson learned for next time. I might put out an update that fixes this.

I noticed that only one person in this thread caught my virtual "tip of the hat" to our contest organizer Yandros. Anyone else find it?

A big salute to all contest entrants. I can honestly say I enjoyed playing each and every one. I don't think most players realize how much work goes into even a small mission, so just releasing an FM is huge. It was a pleasure "competing" with everyone. Keep on dromeding. :cool:

[spoiler]The KNIFE and the BROOM...PLEASE...no "hints" ...just tell me exactly where they are at! I have looked and looked , but I do not have them! I DO have the drillbit, though. I also need to know how to get into the safe with all of these....I have read the safe instructions, but I am still confused as to the exact order of what to use when and where on the gear in the cubby hole behind the door from the safe room. Thanks in advance! [/spoiler]

The knife is stuck in a post in the area right below the ladder up to the vault and the broom is in the corner of the vault room, I believe.

As for how to use these items use the drill bit once, the broom handle twice and then the drill bit. You have to get out to the vault VERY quickly to get there before the door closes on you.
