That is both awesome and terribly sad. I love that someone has done this but the idea of playing it fills me with dread.
What would be really cool? A MMO PvP version of this where you need varying crew sizes (and thus set-ups) are needed for different ships.

That was so incredibly nerdy! But I wouldn't mind a battlestar galactica version though :)

Weekends for nerds.
There's a naval sim that lets you do this kind of thing, Dangerous Waters I think, where you can play online and people take on crewmen at individual stations.
Edit: I'd be interested to see an FPS version of some massive ship or something, like a death star or capital ship, or even a WWII aircraft carrier or pre-WWI dreadnought. Something about the whole thing being in first-person would make it seem more visceral. You literally have to walk to your station and things can start blowing up around you.

I'd prefer a Millennium Falcon sim where you could be either Chewie or Han (or 3PO? Leia?).
"Chewie, set 271."
:p

Reports coming in of teabagging on all decks.

A group at my college was playing this, but sadly I was never invited to a game. They all gave it high marks, though.
