I hope that other "Action RPGs" will adapt to the gameplay elements of KOTOR. I found the gameplay quite enjoyable. Jade Empire I hear didn't do too well. I'm also a star wars fan, so the entire plot, I just loved. However, I didn't find being evil not a bad thing to do.:ebil: It actually pays to be evil in this game, since you don't have to pay certain things, and you can get extra credits, something not seen in alot of other "choose evil or choose good" type of games.

And double negatives are also evil. Evil, I tells ya. Especially if they end up meaning the opposite of what was intended. ;)

Didn't like KOTOR2. There is a lot you can do. You won't have to because the game is rediculously easy. Now the first was also light on challenge, but at least you had a few good fights (Ganon Nord yay). Characters weren't as interesting, and no 'I am your father' moment.

That *does* bring back memories... Thanks!

Just discovered that a high CPU speed will prevent you from using a Twon-Ha (they will turn and jump, but not run). F-Link a-go-go, I guess. :erg:

Let me just spell it out once again:
Anyone who finds KotOR I or II too easy are adviced to play on a difficulty setting above easy, and stop abusing the combat system through either the Master Flurry + Master Speed Combo or Force Storm.
K2 being better than K1? Thats a laugh!
The only things better with K2 were a lot of features that didn't work, and the increased dialogue options consisted of
K1 dialogue options:
1. Aquire info
2. I'm nice. Here's some food.
3. I'm in between. See ya later.
4. I'm evil. Muhaha! Now you die!
becoming
K2 dialogue options:
1. Aquire info
2. I'm a Jedi. Justice be done!
3. I'm nice. Here's all my credits.
4. I'm in between, but in a really either good or evil way. So, not really.
5. I'm a Sith. I want power, slaves and cash.
6. I'm evil. Kill, kill, torture, kill.
Personally I found the latter a lot less satisfying towards the end of actually playing a character.

I don't think you're doing justice to the game by being that reductive. To me it makes a big difference to have Kreya make me rethink my actions and motivations: "Yeah, you've done good. Feel happy? Now look at the consequences. Have you thought about them before? Did you care? Or did you simply want to confirm that you're Mr Goody Two Shoes and butter wouldn't melt in your mouth?"
Kreya's comments made the whole good/evil issue more complex and less black&white than it was in KOTOR 1, and that, in my eyes, is A Good Thing(tm).

Yes, some of Kreia's comments made me stop dead in my mental tracks.

is KOTOR 2 worth buying?
