I agree, there are bit which are hard. But even though you can do the different planets in any order, the planets are not equally hard. There's also some hard things to do that are facultative. Most quests end up giving your credits, and only some give out items, but they're good when you get them(e.g. Bendak's Blaster). But if you play the PC game, save all your stuff from each planet, and go the extra mile to sell stuff to the guy on Yavin. He gives better selling prices, and has awesome stuff to buy, which is also ridiculously expensive.

I played it on the iPad. It uses a control scheme that initially seems sorta goofy, but works surprisingly well once you get used to it. After 45 minutes, I barely gave it any thought.
Speaking of which, I need to get around to beating it one of these days.

Do you reckon it might be fun/playable on a phone (Android)?
I've wanted to replay KotOR for a while and also wanted to try a "proper" game on my phone, so this could be a good opportunity to do both. On the other hand, I can imagine how frustrating the game could be on a (relatively) small phone screen so perhaps I'll just play it on my computer, but I'm also quite curious... Someone buy this on an Android phone and let us know if it's any good, please? :p

Have ya played Jade Empire btw? It's exactly like KoToR(same engine, same developer and all) except it's set in ancient fantasy China and better in every way.
Shut up, henke from 8 years ago! JE was certainly
not better than KoToR. :tsktsk:

Break it up, you two!

Tomi, is it a pretty good sized phone?
Tomi on 27/12/2014 at 12:19
Well, it's a Samsung Galaxy S4 and according to Wikipedia the size of its display is 5.0 inches, so I suppose that's pretty much the average or slightly above it these days.

It's OK on my Galaxy S5 (5.1" screen) although I wouldn't want to go much smaller. Some of the user interface elements can be a little fiddly but it's not too bad once you get used to it. It's certainly great being able to carry the game around and, like you, I hope to finally complete it now!

Alright then, thanks for that Al, that was enough to convince me... I just bought the game! 4 euros (with the 50% launch discount) for a game that's almost guaranteed to be good fun (if it works) isn't too bad really. I probably won't have a lot of time to play it for a while, but I'll try to post my first impressions and other thoughts on it soon.
