Typically exaggerated hype of LucasArts.
The game will be hyped but on the day of release it will turn out the special features were so worked on, that AI sucks/graphics are of yesteryear/implementation suffers/story sucks.
And if I hear someone say "next gen" I swear to god I will rake-kill a puppy.

but still: NEXT GEN
now pls post your atrocities on youtube for all to see and enjoy

Is it really that much trouble to type out "people"? :(

I thought the tech demo with the realistically deforming plywood was pretty cool.

Me too. However, I don't like all the bragging about how they are making stuff.
@Mothra: I never specified it has to be a real, flesh puppy :)

I'll never forgive LucasArts for not announcing a PC version of this game. LucasArts started on the PC, and every Jedi Knight game was released on the PC. Until now that is.
Thanks for abandoning the people who helped keep you in business, LucasArts. But judging by the crud you've been putting out the last few years, maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

I've previously had a go at LucasArts on these forums for churning out dire Star Wars games in recent years, but they've redeemed themselves in my eyes somewhat for giving us the labour of love that is (
http://www.lucasarts.com/games/legostarwarsii/) Star Wars Lego II, so I'm going to give them some slack for a bit.
There's a PC version too (although, I played it on 360).
mothra on 15/9/2007 at 18:34
he, as far as I know this game could be the second coming of christ.
I just don't think that when a game is praised for a certain technological feature it raises the chances of it actually being good. on the contrary if they start talking about "deformable environment" or "destructable trees" (crysis) only it's a WARNING sign.
and I don't own a 360. so I'll check the reviews and if they're good I hope for a mediocre pc port.

The people who helped keep them in business? Gamers, you mean? A lot of gamers have X-Box 360's or PS3's you know.
