Sure it is. The free version's right there at the bottom of the main page. Direct link: (

The Deluxe version is what you need to pay for, of course.

Ahh thanks. Whats the difference ?
I will be tied up till sunday evening playing Endless Space but will try this then. Free Weekend deal on steam btw

Endless space is a bust very annoying game IMO
Definitely can not hold a candle to master of Orion 2, I should really try master of Orion 3 I guess.

No, don't. MoO 3 was widely panned as a multifunctional spreadsheet simulator that happened to have a 4X game tacked on to its edges.
Stealth Bastard Deluxe (
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-11-21-stealth-bastard-deluxe-steam-release-date-announced) apparently is more of an actual game with a narrative, more gadgets, levels, achievements, refinements, etc; the free version is a 'prototype'. I haven't played the Deluxe version, but henke could weigh in on the differences between the two releases if he's started on it.

Well I have had a copy of moo3 sitting in my cabinet with all my other garbage ahem software/hardware but never tried it for some reason.
Oh wait my friend warned me that it was uber intensive and not to bother when I got it, well I just tried it and man its nothing like moo2, I think I will just go back to moo2 for now because endless space was highly irritating.
Unless you can suggest a decent 4X game other then endless space to try ?
