Hotline Miami is amazing.

And it's over. Bought Hotline Miami and Thirty Flights of Loving in the last minutes. I don't know what I was expecting from Thirty Flights but I love what I got from it. So fucking sad and beautiful.

Anyone else feel like a woman buying another pair of shoes when it comes to these deals?
I mean, I don't absolutely need another game, but "hey, it's on sale !!!!"
Then when I get the game it's just going to spend time in my already crowded closet ( steam backlog).

Yep definitely. I get them since their so cheap and possible plays if I'm in the right mood for them + they don't take up any physical space in my room, so their quite tempting.
Picked up Y's Origin on the final day also, myself being a huge fan of the earlier Y's series games on the SMS and snes.

So, I gave it another chance today and now I agree with you :)

I finished it last night (well, the first 15 chapters that is) and I have to agree. Great game. Good gameplay, story and music. Only somewhat marred by bossfights that are too difficult to be any fun.

I like the tunes, I like the visuals, and the bizarre-ness of it all sucks me in. It is just glitchy and crashy over here on my end and can be frustrating as hell.

Yeah. How the hell do I kill the phone-room guy with the golf-club?

The bossfights are very puzzly and you need to figure out (through trial and error) the correct sequence of actions to take to complete them. The phone room guy is the guy in the motorbike helmet with the knife, right? IIRC you have to dodge a couple of his attacks, then strafe out of the way as the throws his knife at you. When he runs over to pull the knife out of the wall he'll be defenseless for a few moments, attack him then. You'll have to do this 2 or 3 times over before he dies.

Ah, thanks. Didn't occur to me there would be any strategy in it, I'll bear that in mind for the rest of the bosses also.
