Heh, gotta love that "Eidos Collectors pack" in the adventure section. At least 5 of those games are free on Gametap.
Deus Ex, $8.99 in the pack, free on GameTap.
Thief 3, $17.99 in the pack, free on Gametap.
Rogue Trooper, $8.99, free on Gametap.
Hitman 1 and 2, Sacred Gold, Psychonauts...well you get the picture.
but yah there are some good deals if you have gotten them yet. Others are a complete joke cause they only knock of a dollar or so.
Edit: On a minutely related side note. Anyone know where i can find the original Unreal?

On (

They're also supposed to have a sale, but this one is ALL about knocking a dollar off the price.
EDIT: Or two dollars. Doesn't concern Unreal, though.
Plus, the Steam sale is already covered in the great bargains thread - and that's where all of this belongs, I suppose.

Gametap isn't at all the same kind of service though ...

Gametap's a pain in the ass. The interface is obtuse (why is there no "my games" tab?), the games themselves are locked away in inaccessible files, and you have to watch navy commercials every time you want to play a game. As a last resort it's okay, but I'd rather pay a few dollars and actually own the game.

goddammit Koki please don't make me have to go get aspirin when it's not even 3pm
Op4 and Blue Shift are only a dollar, so I'm trying to get the folks who bought HL1 for a buck to buy these too.

It might come as a shock to you, but gamers do not live in America exclusively.
