I bought doom and doom 2 for my buddy as a gift:cheeky: because I just couldn't let him pass up on a huge sale deal like that... Both together was a 1.98 on steam.:thumb: Plus he never owned the games..... This steam holiday deal is awesome. I also can't believe my eyes that bioshock is so damn cheap. Oh, and I bought audiosurf for myself, as it was only 4.99:cool:

Nobody said you were smart. Go buy TF2
right now and stop fagging up the thread.
If Valve games were books, they'd be limited to a vocabulary of a hundred words so even foreigners could read it, and every paragraph would end with THIS PARAGRAPH WAS AWESOME. READ IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. You would, cause you're a fanboy.

My being a fanboy has no bearing on you missing out on a great multiplayer game. Stop pretending you're witty and either try the game yourself or shut up.

I did play TF2 for a few hours. I wasn't impressed. It's 1/10 the gaming experience of Tremulous, which is a free, open source game, developed in someone's spare time.

Yea TF2 was a big let down for me. I'm just not into mindless shooting.
Tremulous was fun for a while, last time I tried to play it the servers were as dead as Dystopia.

The spy is a bit more tolerable, but overall the game just isn't fun. I honestly had more fun in Wolfenstien:ET.
The Ship on the other hand was great fun, kind of got old after a while, but still very enjoyable, especially when you know the people you're playing with.

What kind of idiot pays the full RRP for a game intended entirely for multiplayer and proceeds to play it by themselves? Talk about the definition of "you're doing it wrong" and the airplane macro.
The bots are supposed to act as temporary stand-ins until you've filled up your team with four players.

But I'm scared of people on the internet.
Also: like I give a damn?

You're comparing Team Fortress 2 to Tremulous? Bullshit. Tremulous is a cheap version of Natural Selection, and if you're going to compare the games, I'd say Team Fortress 2 wins. Of course that's just my opinion.....
