Team Fortress 2 is an FPS game. Tremulous is an FPS game. However, Tremulous is also a totally different game than TF2. And isn't a commercial game. The point is, if you're going to make comparisons, make ones between two games that actually makes more sense.

Wait. Are you referring to the elevator early on? That's a known bug Valve never got around to fixing. The legacy/WON version was patched but Valve didn't use that version, choosing instead the original, pre-patched version for some reason.

Try (http://www.fileplanet.com/166937/160000/fileinfo/Half-Life:-Blue-Shift---Blue-Shift:-Unlocked) Blue Shift Unlocked, it transfers your Steam or WON version of Blue Shift to a HL1 mod, proper folders and all.

You'll also need (http://www.fileplanet.com/167145/160000/fileinfo/Half-Life---High-Definition-Pack-for-Steam) this. It's a fixed version of the HD pack that's compatible with mods as well as being a definitive fix for the elevator crash (which is caused by the existing models.)

I'm referring to the problem talked about (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=767173) here. I haven't experienced it myself because I don't have the heart to go through without Op4, let alone knowing this bug is just waiting.

This is the first time Valve has really pissed me off. Their own update breaks the game for everyone--and so badly that it makes it obvious that they didn't bother to playtest it even once? We can't downgrade to the version they didn't break? Over two months without the issue being resolved while the game is still being sold on the Steam store (and advertised for the holiday sale?).

Fuck me for not buying a hard CD version, I guess.
