I would if Steam would let me. Seems everyone else had the same idea so it's not happening.

I changed my password, but I think its too late to delete card info, at least its not like sony where it was just plain text files in the database. When you change password it deletes the current saved card info as well, which is nice.
Remember about Steam Guard as well, it prevents other people logging into your account.

Dear Steam Users and Steam Forum Users:
Our Steam forums were defaced on the evening of Sunday, November 6. We began investigating and found that the intrusion goes beyond the Steam forums.
We learned that intruders obtained access to a Steam database in addition to the forums. This database contained information including user names, hashed and salted passwords, game purchases, email addresses, billing addresses and encrypted credit card information. We do not have evidence that encrypted credit card numbers or personally identifying information were taken by the intruders, or that the protection on credit card numbers or passwords was cracked. We are still investigating.
We don't have evidence of credit card misuse at this time. Nonetheless you should watch your credit card activity and statements closely.
While we only know of a few forum accounts that have been compromised, all forum users will be required to change their passwords the next time they login. If you have used your Steam forum password on other accounts you should change those passwords as well.
We do not know of any compromised Steam accounts, so we are not planning to force a change of Steam account passwords (which are separate from forum passwords). However, it wouldn't be a bad idea to change that as well, especially if it is the same as your Steam forum account password.
We will reopen the forums as soon as we can.
I am truly sorry this happened, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
Gabe.

There's not much the hackers can do with hashed and salted passwords and credit card info, from what I understand it. I guess you can only stop your card if you see wonky transactions at best anyway.
I was wondering why the forums were down. I only just posted something that day too. They went down shortly after. Made me wonder if I did it somehow.
All this made me think of a fun scenario: someone hacks into some system and messes with everyone's data, but doesn't really do much. Meanwhile some sort of trojan is installed so that when everyone rushes back to change their details all the new info goes straight to the hackers. But I suspect they've already thought of that sort of thing. Fun sort of techno thriller plot point though.

vH believes Steam is an abomination and a blight on society, and as such should be blasted so far back into oblivion that our proto human ancestors from millions of years ago would have been left reeling from the impact.

I've seen so many comments on gaming sites that are like "fuck valve, hello origin". I have too much money and time invested in my Steam games collection to even contemplate ditching just because of one incident. Hopefully its nothing major, good wake up call for Valve though.
