Limited online activations? Meh.

I still find it weird that people get upset by online activation when we've been using operating systems for the past 9 years that are far more restrictive in that regards than any software has been.

Steam is already a form of DRM, though - it should be enough. I frankly think Steam should forbid the use of any other DRM on the games they sell.

I actually agree.

I almost bought (

There is a deactivation tool, but you have to start it explicitly - if you just uninstall the game in Steam or reinstall your OS without using the tool, you lose an activation. You have 3 activations and 10 deactivations and after that you have to write to the Gaijin support for more.

Because an OS and a single program are very different things. That being said, I don't have a problem with online activation.
Except now when my retarded uni blocks steam meaning I dont have access to any of my games

Can someone gift me The Ball on Steam please? I am flat broke. It is $4.99 for 7 more hours. I can repay you in a couple weeks on payday. Thanks!

Dodged a $6 bullet. I made the mistake of buying it because I was looking forward to cooperative missions with a friend; turns out you need to buy their $15 expansion to get those. No sirree. So I tried fixing up a normal dogfight match, and people couldn't connect to my game (they would connect for a split-second and be disconnected by the master server). No one in my gaming circle could reliably host a match. And Gaijin forum support is pretty much nonexistent (nobody who posts there has any answers).
I probably would've gotten a lot more use out of that $6 at my local sandwich shop.
