You missed out. They had Cryostatis on sale just a few days ago.
He could still get it from Amazon for $3.25. Unless he really, really likes Steam.

Yeah, and if he really, really likes Steam, he can still pick it up there for $6.49.

Well, I don't think buying anything under sale price is going to help the developer very much, anyway.
Side note: I'm currently being consumed by consumer over-consumption syndrome, so I need some perspective. Do you people think I should get Far Cry 2: Fortune's Edition for the PC? I already have it for the PS3, but I hate the slow pace and the insta-respawning checkpoints, and the added irritation trundling around with the analogue sticks causes.
I'd normally be able to make a choice on my own, but my self-empowerment has been confuddled and befused with by the price. Help?

Ditto. It's gotten to the point that I have so much to play, I can easily keep myself busy for the next 3 to 4 months at least. I'm looking at all 3 of the King's Bounty games, Torchlight, Super Meat Boy, Dirt 2, The Void, The Path, Zombie Driver, Burn Zombie Burn, and all the games I have yet to play from the Humble Indie Bundle. Add on top of that the games I want to replay, like wanting to get 100% on everything in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and...well...I have no reason to pick up anything new.
So unless something pops up that's an absolute steal for the price, I'm considering the Steam sale done for me.

I already own it, and bought it at full price. Don't make me rant about the market again.
And on my Steam it's for 10.49 EUR. WITH 50% discount.
Bitchtits.

I wish I'd been paying more attention at the start of the sale: I didn't realize there were daily deals and I bought everything I wanted on the first day. Coulda saved $40 if I'd waited.

FC2 is tempting for $5, since the DLC itself used to cost more than that, and I've never actually been able to acquire it (the DLC, that is) through legitimate means (the link to it on the Ubi store has been broken for as long as I can remember).

Currently playing FarCry 2...it is insanely awesome. jason's right...the DLC is gone and used to cost more than $4 anyway. GET IT FOOLS.
Oh, I bought the STALKER bundle. Gotta love that one... Wish it had Clear Sky...it's the only one I actually need to play through. :(

Clear Sky was a very mixed bag for me. I actually found it very fun and atmospheric in the primary part of the game but it became painfully dull and shooty once reaching Limansk. I have yet to finish it even after beating myself all the way to the hospital many months ago.
Koki on 1/1/2011 at 10:14
Clear Sky is utter garbage, I wouldn't even want it in the bundle if the price stayed the same.
