I just finished World 1 and the controller responded to my every move. The videos I watched before deciding to buy it didn't convey how precise you can actually be.

Nostalgic except for that bit. Before cigarettes, I'd stomp around in a barely controlled rage and kick stuff.
Edit: Level 1? That's nothing. Wait til you get to the Hell Dark World levels, and you have to time your jumps down to a fraction of a second if you want the A+ rating.

Got the A+ on dark world level 20 hell. Took about 40 minutes but I was like 16 seconds under the goal time. So yeah, the game gets pretty difficult, but it's weird how un-frustrating I'm finding it. I think because it restarts so quickly you don't really have time to be annoyed, plus you feel as though you're continually getting better. By the end, those first few saws were no problem anymore.

I made it to level 20 hell and then skipped straight to level 20 dark. In... well, steam says I've played for 2 hours.

I've got 7 hours clocked in so far, and I'm only 5 levels into Hell. Though to make me look not quite so bad, I have gone back to beat my old times, collect bandages, Get A's on all the dark boards (still got alot of work to do on that front), and find all the retro boards.
As for times, I've been going back in and checking the leaderboards to see if I can beat everyone's times on each level...cuz I'm a competitive bastard.
edit: I just figured out you can check out the leaderboard inside of Steam...

Level 4-20x is my crowning achievement, of two hours. But none of my friends have finished it yet. I wish during the replays I could turn off all the meatboys who didn't make it.
