No, not the training mission, but the first proper mission. The one in Saudi Arabia, I think. You have an appartment, you get orders from the TV. There's a nightmission at some armycomplex or something.

I've also just got Crysis [...] Does the suit ever get powered up though because I can't jump jeeps like in the trailers?
The jumpboost is under "Strength", not "Speed".

Finish the Saudi Arabia mission, and once you've played some more after that, you should be able to make a decision. Also, fuck around with your conversation options a bit and see what happens! :D

Ehhh no. I've made my mind up. Got so many other games to play right now. And I'm sure I'll find a few others on the Steamsale which I simply must have.

Ah well. It's one of the few actual successors to Deus Ex, consolised as it may be, but if you've made up your mind, so be it.

so I bought a few titles and looking forward to playing them 8 months from now when I am out of my campus which blocks gaming ports including Steam, woo!

Yeah I know and I still can't get that high. At the moment I'm using a combination of speed and stealth and it's pretty fun! I might have to remap the suit powers though as having them on the middle mouse button is a little odd.

You can double tap movement keys to activate them. Forward twice while holding sprint activates speed, jump twice does strength, crouch for stealth. I can't remember armour, mostly because it's basically worthless.
Also: Darksiders is totally worth the ten bucks it's at right now. People should buy it.

Picked up the first DeathSpank, played a few minutes, promptly soiled myself. Not sure why I was on the fence with this (probably because diablo clones are so hit-and-miss) but this is a good one.

Wow, that's a nice control system. Must try it, thanks :thumb:
