Ha ha. I just mean be prepared for it seeing as it seems to jar with some people enough to spoil the game for them. It's a small thing and not the same as the other things you mentioned; if you don't let it bother you (and you can choose sometimes - I read a review of The Hobbit where the guy was really irritated by the fake noses) you'll really like it.

Same here. I have a dislike of modern day shooters, but that one interested me since it goes off in a slightly more sci-fi direction so I picked it up since it was only $10 (here on the Aus version of steam anyway).
Yeah. It's also a good thing that I am going into the game forewarned that the cast starts off as your stereotypical macho douchebags and gets broken down from there. Otherwise I'd have been completely turned off to the game

Dammit....Dead Rising 2 collection was 75% off
Sulphur on 26/12/2012 at 08:36
Was? It still is, from where I'm standing. Or sitting. Or whatever, you get the idea.
CCCToad on 26/12/2012 at 08:37
"Was" because the current price of it is no longer relevant to me.
Sulphur on 26/12/2012 at 08:43
Ah, right. Well, even at whatever price you paid for it, it's still probably worth it.
Except for Off the Record, because it's the most cynical recycling of content I've ever seen.

Hotline Miami is a daily deal and Mark Of the Ninja is on a flash sale for another few hours if anyone else was waiting for those.

On Getgamesgo I picked up Darksiders II and Stealth Bastard Deluxe.
I picked up Dungeon Defenders/Snapshot/Shank 2/Closure and the Binding Of Isaac DLC in the newest humble bundle.
Not Steam-related, but I picked up the Monty Python boxset and Bit.Trip Complete for the Wii on Amazon.
On Steam I've picked up Ys Origin so far. Waiting for Mark Of The Ninja, Iron Brigade, and the Skyrim DLC to come up on a daily or flash deal. Dark Souls would be nice if it gets cheap enough.
Alright, I'm tapped out until the first now. Since that post I picked up:
Sleeping Dogs on Greenmangaming. Used the credit from that and a voucher to grab the Borderlands 2 Season Pass for cheap. All register on Steam.
Skyrim Dawnguard + Hearthfire
Dark Souls on Amazon. Used a coupon from that to buy the Borderlands 2 Mechromancer Pack for cheap. Steamable.
Mark Of The Ninja
Kung Fu Strike + Master Levels DLC

Yeah Hotline Miami and MotN are good. Dead Rising 2 is really good as well. Second best game where you play a guy protecting a little girl while a zombie apocalypse rages I've played in recent times.
My haul so far:
Batman: AC: GOTY
Freespace 2 (from GOG)
Garry's Mod
I Am Alive (Xmas gift from Brethren)
Miasmata (Xmas gift from Brethren)
Sniper Elite V2
Spec Ops: The Line (from GetGames)
To The Moon (Xmas gift from Brethren)
Gonna play Sniper Elite V2 first.
Also picked up the latest Humble Indie Bundle, which includes Closure, Snapshot, Shank 2, and some other stuff. If anyone wants the Steam key for Legend of Grimrock let me know!
