Shame you can't get Steam for PS3 or I'd have had Dead Space. I've played the PS3 demo and I don't want this for PC, seems like a it'll be more at home on the PS3.

dead space is a good pc port. mouse-control ftw - 100% accurate knee and groinshots.

I can attest to this.

Some awesome deals today.
RE: Anno 1440. Before aware that they removed the shitty Tages DRM in a patch.
Also Call of Juarez 2 retail disc has zero DRM. The Steam copy only has Steamworks. It has Tages (3 limited activations) on Impulse and Gamersgate, god only knows why.
EDIT:-
Mirror's Edge:-
No SecuROM DRM on the Steam version, unlike the retail disc. Be aware that the Time Trials map pack DLC doesn't work with the Steam version.

So did I! Lack of multiplayer is not really a concern of mine, and for £7.50 I decided to give it a whirl. Currently wondering if I should splash out on Spore before the deals change in an hour or so.
You might like to save your time and not get Spore. I don't resent spending the money, but I massively resent spending the time on it. I was really looking forward to it, but it's the most hollow and empty looking game I have played. Every "phase" of the game is just really shallow and empty feeling. It's 5 games in one, just a shame they're 5 bad games.

Thanks for the warning faetal! I didn't go for it in the end and from what I'm hearing I'm quite glad I didn't.

Mm! Mirror's Edge for practically nothing. Don't mind if I do.
Don't suppose there's any way to change where steam installs games yet is there?
Matthew on 30/11/2009 at 18:49
Not short of moving your whole Steam installation, as far as I'm aware, though others may have more knowledge than I.
