Yeah, that's the impression I get. Though, of course, the new one will cost a lot more than $5 - so I ended up getting X3: Terran Conflict, and will load it up with whatever applicable mods and give it a whirl, which will give me an idea of how much I want to invest in the series.

Seems like there is indeed another day. I was misled by the fact that it's been July 10th over here all day and the sale ends on July 10th. Dunno when July 10th is for you crazy yanks! :p
Today is just reruns of earlier deals. Last chance to get some cheap games folks! The Steam Christmas Sale is a long way off. I think I'm done. Spent close to 70 euros. The best new addition to my Steam library is probably Frozen Synapse. I haven't played many turn-based squad combat games before, besides Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games and Shadow Watch, but this one has me hooked. :)

HENKE! If you've played Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games, consider getting Jagged Alliance 2 Gold on Steam for little monies today. With the community-made v1.13 mod applied it is a very good game indeed.

I played the demo of JA2 ages ago and although I liked it I never got the full game. So for 5€ it is tempting, but FS is more than enough to give me my fill of turn-based-combat right now and I know I just wouldn't end up playing JA2 very much. I'm trying very hard not to buy anything I won't play so I'm gonna pass.
