I'm pissed off at steam. They had Terraria for $2.50. Five hours later, they upped it to $5. FUCKERS!

Excellent. If you haven't yet noticed, some of the options (such as rebinding the controls) are very oddly unavailable from the main menu, but you can hit ESCAPE when playing to get to those. Personally I eschew the mouse control method in favour of the Thrust-a-like scheme of A,S (rotation), SHIFT (thrust), SPACE (shield), & ENTER (fire). Mouse should be more precise, but my brain isn't wired for that in a game like this :)
Enjoy!

I use mouse for rotation/shooting and keyboard for thrust. I didn't know there was a shield though, that should come in handy in some of those turret-filled caverns that have had me bouncing around the walls like crazy. :p

Thanks to Trance and Sinister for the gifts this week!

I must say, the ticket prize booth thing was awesome. I managed to net myself Alien Breed 2 and substantial SP mission-based DLC for Defence Grid, A Reckless Disregard for Gravity and Winter Voices.
I know that a lot of people wasted their tickets on trivial, cosmetic only microtransction crap. What fuckwits.

I ended up with more tickets than games to use them on (even after getting Alien Breed 2).
EvaUnit02 on 11/7/2011 at 17:53
You didn't have to own the games already to able to redeem the tickets.
