Out of all of the cheap indie games which I've bought and tried this sale, (
http://store.steampowered.com/app/204240) The Bridge is probably the most worthy of a mention. It's a puzzle platformer that seems to have taken inspiration from M.C. Escher's warped perspective paintings. The main mechanic has you rotating the entire level (and also individual gravity directions of other objects) to progress through doors by getting keys, avoiding dangers, moving boulders to hit pressure plates, etc - and plenty of navigating strange (
http://indiestatik.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/bridg.jpg) looped walkways.
If you enjoy puzzle games, I'd recommend it for the current discount.
I just bought this on the basis of your recommendation. Maybe some day I'll even play it. :-)

Have you ever owned or used a Mac for a significant amount of time? Because that's horsesh*t. Macs probably aren't the best for games but the amazing thing about the power is even a side by side comparison of pure raw specs does not tell you how smooth and fast and seamless your experience will be. For years I said I'd never get one but I needed a laptop for portable working and a year later its still lovely.
On contrary, I used OS X on Macbook Pros for years and it's fucking rubbish compared to Windows. It's an utterly locked down OS that's almost completely inflexible for power users. I can mold practically every aspect of Windows precisely to suit my tastes, it's the Firefox of the OS world. But God forbid anyone mess with the idiot-proof "baby's first OS" that is OS X, right? Windows out of the box is just as accessible as MacOS, there is no advantage of buying a much better spec'ed and cheaper PC over a fucking Mac.
What's more Apple hardware peripherals are of questionable quality too. Mighty Mouse is biggest non-ergonomic, inaccurate pieces of shit that I've EVER USED. The scroll ball would regularly get gunked up and thus unusable. Trying to right-click was always an exercise in luck, often not recognising a right-click unless you pressed the right-most edge of the mouse.
Everybody loves to masturbate about the quality of CinemaDisplays, right? They offer practically NO options, the ones I had no built-in options UI (you could only configure them from within the OS! WTF?!) and only supported DVI-D output (god forbid also having the options of VGA and Display Port). If want an awesome quality monitor with actual options I'll get a Dell.

I think he's specifically referring to gaming - this is a thread about a Steam sale after all. I don't think there's any denying that if you're buying a machine strictly for gaming, PC is the way to go.
Nope. I used Macs almost exclusively for non-gaming reasons.

Someone has never heard of the terminal… don't pretend to be a power user.
EvaUnit02 on 28/6/2014 at 04:05
/sudo r/w/w suck my dick
Because knowing Lunix commands makes you a power user, right? Get the fuck out of here. If I want customise the basic desktop UI, something is fucking wrong if need to use a command prompt to do that.

I hope you realise the massive fucking irony of your last post.

There are loads of desktop customisation tools.
EvaUnit02 on 28/6/2014 at 06:10
If I have to rely upon 3rd party tools to fix a problem, that speaks fucking volumes. (I'm not going to make excuses for MS either, not having the option of a classic Start menu in Windows 8 is inexcusable.)
