Oh hey, it's the same shit that's been on sale in every steam sale for the past 3 years. Woo.

It's taking all my willpower to do so, but I'm ignoring it. According to my Steam stats, I've only finished a quarter of the games I've already got. I've got enough games to last me through the next two years easily.

Yeah not a lot of alluring stuff on the front page, but two of the games on my wishlist had good discounts, so that's Jet Car Stunts and Probably Archery picked up. Two items crossed off my wishlist and only 6 bucks spent! I'm already winning the sale! :thumb:

Majesty Gold HD & Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae so far for me.

What's the general rule? Don't buy shit until it gets to at least 75% off (or unless the sale is about to end).
Edit: In a way, the sales depress me too, when I see games that I paid $30-60 for, and they're still in my library, untouched/uninstalled/unplayed, and now on sale for $4.99 (hello, Witcher 2).

Either 75% off or on a daily/flash/vote sale. If it's one of those it will likely not get any cheaper during this sale.
And if you like brawlers, (
http://store.steampowered.com/app/249680/) MARLOW BRIGGS MAN OF ACTION is available for 0.99€. If you're only somewhat into that kind of game and not entirely sure, this is a very solid title that's more than worth the 5€ normal price.

Hence my rule that unless I know I'm going to play something to death the moment it's released, I never buy it full price.

My rule has become: If I'm not going to play it in the next week, I don't buy it at all :)

I admit that I...occasionally...possibly...get caught up in the hype machine...at the time of release...and buy shit I don't need...or probably won't finish...
(hmmm, GTA V, Bioshock Infinite)

I'd love to have the willpower to do the same, but...them prices...
