I need a stockpile to last me until winter, or until Ban Ki Moon gives me a call to tell me how concerned he is.
Also, I'm on the purple team whatever that is. Fight me.

Noooo! They've got Divinity: Original Sin on sale.
WHY DID I LOOK?

Two words to keep your wallet safe: Early Access.
Also, you'll be able to play it just as much once it's been released for a while and goes on sale for 50% off instead of the current 20% for a pre-release game you might grow tired off before it gets to a playable state.

Except Divinity Original Sin is being fully released on the 30th of this month.
I Kickstarted it, and have loved what I've played so far, but I've purposely stopped playing it until it's fully released so that I don't spoil it.
I'm a little concerned about the levelling systems, but those might have changed since I last played.

What Malf said. I usually take a firm stance against getting early access stuff, but Divinity is so close to release, I could get it and play it now without having to worry about any big game stopping bugs or incomplete gameplay. It's just about done.
Gaww. The temptation.

Anyone found any good deals outside of the front page ones?
I looked around and here are some titles I can heartily recommend at more than 70% off:
Shadow Warrior
Euro Truck Simulator 2
Enslaved
The Shivah
Kung Fu Strike
Rochard
I just picked up The Bureau. Jason seemed to like it a lot.
Also, Jet Car Stunts (-66%) turned out to be a very pleasant experience on PC. Loved the iOS version and I must say it's translated very well to gamepad controls. It's a bit low on content, but at the current price I highly recommend it to anyone who's into Nitronic Rush or Trackmania's platform-levels.

Using (
http://steamdb.info/sales/) I've noticed a couple of good picks (and likely missed a lot more):
Shatter (80% off)
Sang-Froid - Tales of Werewolves (90%, but also available on the "pay anything"-tier of the current Humble Weekly)
Shadowgrounds & SG Survivor (90%)
Project: Snowblind (75%)
Ghost Master (85%)
Who's That Flying?! (80%)
Space Empires IV & V (80%)
Shatter (80%)
Alien Breed Trilogy (80%)
VtM: Bloodlines (75% as it has been many, many times before)
Lots of Serious Sam stuff (75%)
Elven Legacy stuff (75%)
Cthulhu Saves the World & Breath of Death VII Double Pack (70% off and the pack costs as much as either game alone)

Some more non-daily cheap stuff:
Velvet Assassin - 49 goddamn cents
Stealth Bastard Deluxe Bundle 80%
SpaceChem 80%
Sine Mora 80%
Rock Of Ages 80%
Pool Nation 80%
Marlow Briggs 80%
all 7 Bit.Trip games 80%
The Darkness II 75%
Sword Of The Stars The Pit 75%
Singularity 75%
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ 75%
Mafia II 75%
Hard Reset 75%
Gone Home 75%
Deadly Premonition 75%
Unity Of Command 70%
Max Payne 3 70%
This is the first Steam sale in quite awhile where there are some decent deep non-daily/flash deals that likely won't be bettered by other sites (Amazon, GMG, etc). I usually end up buying Steam keys from other sites during Steam sales because everyone else goes nuts trying to beat them.

Gahhh! I was gonna resist! I tried to! God knows I did! But I failed! I FAILED!
...and I bought damn Divinity. Shit better be good.

If Thief shows up at some 'fuck it' price I'll give it a go.
Otherwise, got Witcher 2 for a song. I'll let you know what I think in two years when I play it.
