Obviously! You play games in a VM, for gods sake! Who does that? NO ONE DOES THAT! It's freaky and it's wrong!
Just in case feelings are about to be hurt (the Mac vs. PC debate makes us all wear our nerd hearts on our sleeves), I'm about on the cusp of buying a Mac myself. They're really not all that expensive once you get past the initial cost.

This sale is kicking my butt - I just picked up 4 things that weren't even on my wishlist. Just bought them because they were cheap.

I've stayed away from that this time. Only bought 2 games and they were gifts, nowt for myself yet as nothing's grabbing me.

I'm going on to have a proper look for the first time.
Any recs guys? Indie stuff?

Take a loot at post 26, 27 & 28 in this thread for some very noticable discounts on various good games.

:nono: *sigh* See, this is how they get you. Once you're locked in to Volvo parts and service...

If Steve Jobs were still alive, he'd rear up and smack you in the head.

A wide eyed Mac "genius" on a street corner breathlessly explained to me how He is still alive and will come again for a great battle with the forces of darkness at a place undisclosed except to true adepts. Before that, all those who correctly tithed and did spread the good word to at least one other will be ascended to shiny, round edged heaven. And if you can see the source code for OS X the code contains what would have been predictions about the future, if only we had the eyes to see them. But the help file isn't all that explicit on how it works. You should just trust in Him and those chosen by Him.
Truly a message of hope for all mankind.
I will be down among the damned with my '95 OS, and my post-apoc 70s muscle car and sawn off shotgun. I have come to terms with this.
Anyway, the damage so far.
Witcher 2
Papers Please
Dark Souls
Spec Ops: The Line.
I kind of expect I'm not going to enjoy the gameplay of the last two (actually Witcher is a bit of an unknown quantity too), but they're interesting things of our age.

Witcher 2 is great. It does have a bit of a steep learning curve but in saying that, don't spend too long playing the tutorial -- it's the hardest section in the game.
Dark Souls has amazing gameplay. Once again, it has a steep learning curve so will take some time to get used to. Make sure you get DSFIX (which fixes some graphical issues) and a decent controller as mouse support is woeful.
