Hoping for juicy discounts on Elite Dangerous, Lords of the Fallen, and ETS2 Scandinavia DLC.

A lot of the old strategies for sale maximisation no longer apply, what with refunds now being a thing, and Steam explicitly stating that they don't consider asking for a refund and re-buying due to a price change within the refund period to be abuse.

You do have to look out for how much you play a game if you take that approach. More than 2 hours and you blow your chance at a refund, which with a decent amount of the titles we seem to play here looks like a fairly real "risk".

If your a Heroes of Might and Magic fan your spoiled for this week. On GoG you can get 1-3 quite cheaply and the rest are up on steam also on special.

I'll be laughing when I get it for 66% off.

Henke can just get a refund and buy it at the new discount then.

Has Valve ever managed to launch a sale without their entire network and store website tanking? I'm thinking no.

Heh, considering it just came out I doubt'll it get cheaper than -25%. The previous sale said it was ending just now, but now I see it's up on sale again at -25% till the end of the summer sale. I've only played the first mission yet but I'm really digging what I've seen so far. The pathfinding is a bit wonky, but besides that it's pretty ace!
