Voice input is something I'd have to overcome my own embarrassment to do - which is silly, because I look as dumb wearing my TrackIR gear as I sound when going, "Computer, display xyz."

I thought I was going to be embarrassed, but when the recognition is that smooth it just plain feels good. So much better than having to trace symbols on the screen.
The problem with In Verbis Virtus is, the game doesn't live up to the mechanics or visuals.

Well well well. Grim Fandango Remastered and LP3 - now this sale's got some bite to it. I'm going to have to try LP3 because of henke's recommendation on its down-to-earth story... which is about as far away you could get from LP1 and 2 as possible*, so colour me intrigued.
*Not a diss. Batshit Capcom stories are the best when played in co-op. Great times were had by us all. :D

Alien: Isolation is -75%. DEFINITELY worth it if you haven't played it yet.

I'm having a great time just watching what everyone is picking up.

Wolfenstein: The New Order - the other day when it was 75% off, it probably will be again at the end of the sale
Alien: Isolation - today, another 75% off lone

I was gonna say what I bought, but Sxerks beat me to it.
Welp, used Steams refund policy for the first time. Alien Isolation wouldn't work. At all. When I'd go to start a new game, it'd crash me back to the desktop. Figured I'd get something else.

Indeed! :D Sadly the gameplay is very far removed from LP1 and 2 as well. It's not as good, tho it does have it's moments. The mech vs huge alien monster fights in particular stand out. I suggest you play it on Easy tho! You'll still get the story and the nice atmosphere, but not have to put up with the most aggrieving aspects of the gameplay, namely having to restart bossfights that make you sit through unskippable cutscenes, too much.

And the recently-released The Old Blood was -50%!
I picked up that, along with Gemini Rue, Road Redemption, and The Evil Within.

I have a long backlist so I won't be buying much. So far I only bought Minerva's Den for Bioshock 2 at 66% off, because I only have the main game and it's next on my list, after I finish Dead Space.

I got Minerva's Den free in an update. Is that only if you bought it on steam in the first place or something?
