Red Faction Armageddon looks good. Hell, the whole bundle looks good. But I think I'm starting to get to a point where I'm not sure I'll be able to finish what's on my plate until the Xmas sale, so better stop buying stuff now. :/

Okay, I caved and spent $10 on the Fallout: New Vegas DLC instead of the Thief: DS/GTA4 combo I was originally planning on. My first Steam purchases ever, woo!
That said I'm still considering getting my first choice too. Also, despite not being a fantasy genre fan, Skyrim seems awfully tempting.
Skyrim is good, but gameplay-wise it's too similar to FO:NV to play at the same time, or right after you finish NV. I recommend getting something more actiony instead. GTA4 would've been a great choice but it's not a daily deal anymore. Alan Wake is good, and cheap right now tho.

I bought a number of games, despite knowing full well that I'll probably never get to spend much time with them.
There were a number of other games that I missed out however as a consequence of PayPal falling over half way through the transaction. From time to time I've noticed that PayPal can be a little flakey but lately I've had a lot of trouble with it to the point where sometimes I've just given up on the transaction altogether.

Well LA Noire seems to be a big mistake on PC. Controls don't work properly (I had to restart to get ANY working and now just picking up a newspaper locks me on the newspaper screen) and the link to the DLC takes me to the LA Noire screen in Steam but nowhere to DL despite it telling me "You have DLC for this game" in-game.
Maybe I should have got it for PS3.

There are probably more indie twin-stick shooters than anything.
And 0 multiplayer ones, which is why I think people should keep making more.

If someone were smart they'd just license Smash TV from Williams and rebuild it with online co-op.

Weird, the DVD version works flawlessly. No copy protection either (other than the Social Club, of course).

I got Space Marine so I can ponder the intrinsic sexism in 40k whilst chopping up orks with a chainsword.
Also Duke Nukem forever even though I hear it was arse because... I'm an idiot? Or just couldn't resist trying a modern game featuring possibly PC Gaming's most iconic character.
Also some indie game called Solar 2 which sucks, I can't figure out how combat is supposed to work. But eh it cost me less than the sandwich I got for lunch today so no great loss.

Tempted by the Alan Wake "franchise" deal and the Star Wars mega pack. Also, Fear3 for 5 bucks and Fallout NV Ultimate for 10 (which includes all the DLC).

I got it at some knockdown price a few months back, but it really is terrible. I uninstalled after persevering for several hours.
I think Duke has (

Hey, it's not that bad. Use gravitational pull of your solar system to steal planets from others, or just smash yours into other, smaller ones to 'attack'. Takes a bit of getting used to. It's better than DNF :D

I guess you have to tool around randomly accumulating your system before doing any missions? I had a "life planet" with several asteroids and a ship or two zooming around, and couldn't do anything useful. Captive asteroids as weapons is a clever idea but they get stripped away in seconds by enemy ships.
