Made my first sale mistake purchase, getting MLB 2K12 for $15. With how phenomenal NFL 2K5 and NBA 2K12 are I figured Visual Concepts couldn't make a bad game, but jesus, this is terrible.
I still play NFL 2K5.

Does it support 1920x1080? (Most Japanese PC games I've played are locked at ancient shit like 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768... but they have mostly been visual novels.)
Is there a fan patch to add the PSP voice acting?
As far as I can tell, it supports every resolution your video card reports. The original release was locked in a 4:3 aspect ratio, and I played it on 2048*1536 (I have a Dell 3007WFP-HC). The Steam release apparently autodetects aspect ratio, so you should be golden. I'm playing Ys Origin, which uses the same engine, on my TV at a resolution of 1280 x 768, and that works properly, aspect ratio and all.

The Binding Of Isaac is on sale today for 99p (or the dollar / euro equivalent). Don't buy it by itself, buy the Binding Of Isaac + Wrath of the Lamb for 49p extra. Technically, it's a horrible game - flash based and slows to a crawl on PCs with low CPU power. However, it makes up for that by the enormous variety of game experiences.
Although it's ultimately a simplified rogue-like, the combination of items, maps and ultimately luck that you encounter means that each play through feels different and it's more than worth the asking price.

"Simplified rogue-like"? It's a blatant fucking Zelda clone, just with no save feature. Still a good game though.

A simplified rogue-like would be something like Hack, Slash, Loot.

Nothing wrong with a Zelda clone, considering the last several big Zelda games have been Zelda clones anyway.

Sounds like I really need to check out Zelda then, sounds fun. By simplified rogue-like I meant it presents a random combination of "dungeon" layouts, enemies and items without having to memorise 30 different key presses, worry about food, being poisoned etc.

You've really never played Zelda? Binding Of Isaac is basically an exact clone, minus my favorite parts (exploring the overworld).

Minus the dungeon puzzles and story, as well. It's a Zelda clone in the spirit of its combat alone, which of course is all that's there, but the dungeon crawling is as rogue-like as it can get.

Plus randomly generated levels, plus huge replayability, plus you don't play as some gay-ass elf trying to save a generic fantasy world from destruction by Dr. Evil Mcbadson
