I put GZ on my wishlist, but now that I have a PS4 I'd rather play it on there. At least, with the current crap pc I have it makes more sense to get the ps4 version.
What kind of crap are we talking here? Because GZ's optimization is CRAZY GOOD. With mid-range equipment you could be getting a game that looks and runs better than the PS4 version.

I actually asked a reviewer on steam if my computer might be able to handle it and he wasn't sure, but he figured it'd be plyable on mid/low settings.
We're talking windows 7 x64, amd radeon 6570, 6gb of ram, 2.8ghz amd phenom II x4

Why on Earth would you put your specs in spoiler tags?

Well, I know I'm waiting for the drama to play out organically. What fun would it be to see his specs before he even tries GZ? :cheeky:

My i3570 and AMD 7870 were mid-range 2 years ago. If that system can run it on low or medium that sounds like pretty good optimization.

How does a GTX 650 relate to my radeon card? The steam store page has a minimum of that card, but doesn't bother to include it's AMD equivalent. I mean, my 6570 has 1 (or was it 2?) gigabytes of ram and has dx11, which is what this game needs. I also ran system requirements lab and it said I failed due to my graphics card... so, yeah, not sure I could even run this game.

AMD performance wise equivalent of a GTX 650 is a HD 7770 according to Google. How a HD 7770 relates to your video card? I dunno, Google it.

Yeah, so it wants a card better than the one I've got. That's what I was afraid of.:( I could probably get it to run but it'd have piss poor performance I would think.

External benchmarks are meritless when it comes to trying gauge real world performance in games.
Also you have to take each game on an individual basis. Eg Game A might be better optimised for AMD GPUs, meanwhile Game B might perform better on Nvidia, GPU.
Personally I don't touch Radeons because their drivers are objectively trash. They might be "bang for buck" but considering that hardware is long term investment (at least for me) an extra $50 or so for Nvidia GPUs is nothing. (Maxwell has been rendered that moot for now anyway. GTX 750Ti and 970 are supreme value for money within their respective market slots. When 960 launches in January or so it will probably be the second coming of the 8800GT.)
