it's sort of sad though that we see Bethesda making the connections and dropping the jokes and we still hear nothing from Eidos about anything!
Still great that new things keep getting found.

Agreed Nepthys. The silence from EM is deafening at this point, imo. In regards to Mr. Russell's characters in Skyrim, I've been hearing his distinctive voice almost everywhere. The latest is a Dark Elf in the Gray Quarter of Windhelm. And every time I hear his voice coming from yet another character, I still say, 'Oh yeah ..... that's Stephen.' :cheeky:

I thought Mercer Frey sounded like a tired current Harrison Ford, which Garrett always kind of reminded me of.

On a semi-related note, There is the NightingGale armor/quest which is supposedly from Terry Pratchett's Discworld Assasin's guild. Makes you wonder if that was also a purposeful nod, and considering he's a stated fan of the Thief series.
Also, at the very highest point in the world is a special pickaxe, supposedly named after minecraft, in which there was some Bethesda lawsuit action... Another nod?

The pickaxe is very definitely a nod to Minecraft. It's called "Notched Pickaxe" and has a smithing bonus.

Wow. I had heard the NPC merchants and though that they sounded familiar, but wasn't sure at that point that it really was Stephen Russell. Once I encountered Vile though, I knew for sure that Bethesda had excellent taste in voice actors!
