I just recently played the Thief 3 version of the Creature Class FM. I accidently walked into the 'Melee' section of the level, so when I put 3 Puppets and a Hammer haunt down in the stadium and pressed 'Start' instead of them duking it out, I found myself face to face with them in an instant.

Yeah... guards in T1 and T2 were actually better for the atmosphere. Though Benny was always appretiated, there wasn't something "funny" about the guards beyond that. And it was perfect IMO.

Classic, sure. But T3 uses humor constantly. I couldn't begin to list all the funny crap you can see and hear. It is present in the first games, just EXTREMELY limited. Honestly, I think the humor destroys T3 immersion and feeling of continuity in the Thief universe. It almost feels like a parody of Thief.
One thing I never tire of: Releasing the Kurshok in Stonemarket.....the guard will say "monsters!!! DIS-GUSTING!!" and then chase the shit out of it. Between that and the flapping Kurshok feet as he runs for his life, it is just hilarious.

Go for it, kiddo. Even my dad laughs his butt off when that happens. Classic T3 humor. I think it is available the very first time you get to Stonemarket, when the two thugs (male and female) are discussing breaking into the Cathedral.
