Not enough pictures; too many big words.

Well I can say the game-maker in me definitely wants to read this. I'm very interested in innovating story-telling techniques in FPS's, with Patently Dangerous just being my first tentative foray. And the first thing we need are some good analyses of the state of the art out there.
I'd almost like to say there's an emerging school of design on innovative interactive storytelling, but I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'm content to make my own contributions and hope the field develops in interesting ways.

Shouldn't you be able to use the "Fit to page" (or whatever it's called) function? Obviously it won't fit 100% and will be shrunk down a bit, but the differences between A4 and Letter aren't all that huge, are they?
Yeah, I can - or rather, the printing place should be able to (printing 343 pages on a home printer would take FOREVER and be quite expensive on an inkjet). More likely, they'll just print it as-is and it will be a bit smaller on the page.

Just met this guy yesterday at a conference and he seemed very much like our kind of people. Will definitely have to give this thing a stab at the weekend.
Aerothorn, just curious, are you completely averse to reading on an LCD screen? I know some people hate it with a passion, but if you're not one of them, it could save you a lot of hassle.

I've been reading it on my screen, but will withhold an opinion until I read all of it. The framing is already useful for me thinking about it though.
But I was just thinking we could invite him to say something in our thread if he likes. When his first mod came out I was thinking then that he'd probably have a lot of interesting ideas on story and gameplay to listen to.
But anyway, maybe a better idea after a lot of us have had a chance to read this and have something to actually say about it. But I think it might be sort of cool to have our own little informal mini-conference on story & gameplay, or anyway, just some back and forth.

Sounds interesting, could get in touch and ask if he'd be willing to take part in such an online chat, but we should obviously allow for some time for interested TTLGers to go through the material and see if we have some actual discussion points.

I'm not averse to reading on a screen period, but I am averse to reading anything of real length on it - 40 pages is probably my max.
