Some strange sound mgbab1.wav in snd.crf in sfx folder. It's for Thief Gold. There're also other similarly named sounds, they aren't used in the game, at least I didn't hear them anywhere. All gibberish, but namely in this one I can clearly hear "íåìåäëåííî", which from russian means "immediately".
Searched the forums and found (

What's that? Had LGS left us secret messages?

However there are numerous things in the resource files that never got used in the game. I imagine some were left behind just because they knew game geeks like us will wade through that stuff at some point and it's just neat to find little things like that.

Mage Babble, and Mage Chant.
They are just vocal snippets of existing files. The techniques used are used heavily throughout TDP/Gold. The Mage Babble wavs are multiple snippets at different speeds, layered in mono, and reversed.
mgbab1 contains "...whether they be stone...", the only snippet I can hear clearly, which comes from hm2a0ch1: "And The Builder said, 'If the foundation is weak, do you wail and gnash your teeth? Do you ask it to repour itself? Nay, you tear it down and begin anew. So shall it be with with all My Children, whether they be Stone or Flesh.'"
They are not found in the schemas.

This babbling is actually used in Mage Tower mission, it activates upon entering the room with Earth talisman. The schema called "m16bab" found in the gamesys, it's not present among schemas though. Looks like LGS left us outdated ones.

mgbab2.wav: "×òîáû îí å¸ î÷åíü ëþáèë, ïîòîìó ÷òî îí å¸ î÷åíü ëþáèë"
mgbab3.wav: "Ïîñìîòðþ"
Means respectively "So he loved her much because he loved her much" and "I'll look".
