Strange sounds in Kiev .....

Okay, this is VERY creepy! So far, I've read posts that claim the sound is being generated by everything from the Archangel's trumpet to a nearby dam that's contracting and expanding. Anybody else have any ideas?

Sounds like the inside of a ship. The dam theory sounds plausible.

I've done several searches, but so far can't find any reference to the original video being a hoax or publicity stunt. One young lady (calls herself 'Sheilaaliens' ffs) claims it may be a local (Kiev) drilling company that's responsible; she thinks there's something going seriously awry with their drilling and that's what's creating the noise ((http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4VX7xkt58Y)). I have absolutely no clue whether or not the original video's legit.

P.S. When I started watching the video my first thought was, 'Emission!!!'. ;)

Holy crap these sounds are cool. :o Get rid of the kid's speculations that it's sky microbes trying to scare us or something, and you'd have some awesome music.
