What about the vault?
I found the scroll and thought the combination would be 9027 but that didn't work; tried it backwards and that didn't work either. Is that where the combination is or is there another clue somewhere? I've looked in both the magic library and the other library and found nothing. I did pull the 3 levers and got the secret door to open and made sure to keep it open with the lever that is just inside but I can't continue until I get that damn shard!!! All the missions have been great so far and I love the way the rain sound changes depending upon what structure you happen to be under. :)

Arrrgh, turns out I'd picked it up right at the start of the mission then forgotten about it. Conflating "The library" and "The magic library" didn't help either
