Oh my God,
the water! :wot:
I can't stop looking at the water. I'm just gonna find myself a nice boulder by a waterfall and just sit here and stare. I may never leave.Me too! I had to cheat and get ahead, but came back here to finish this mission part so I can get lockpicks.... I need them....:wot:

I am in the same bot you are Gloria, I have the regular "Green" column to complete.. I've spent two hours on it and evry possible combination but "on/of/on" is all I get. And it takes a long time to navigate around to get this column versus the rest were a little easier to complete. I'm stuck.. I have to complete this one to get lock picks.. I even restarted the mission and am still stuck on this column..
The best way to go about it is one color at a time... The tops of each color must be turned on first that completely messed me up... I had to restart... Then had to restart again 2 more times due to green.. This time green was 2nd... Completed the mission and mostly complete through last mission.
Green: On/Off/On White/gray: On/Off/Off Red: All three Off White/Green: Off/On/On Hope this helps... Its long and confusing..

Same problem here, but with the red levers.
Combination Off, Off, Off didn't work.I had to restart the mission.
@Michael
It is Off/Off/Off I had the same issue but had to restart the mission 3 times to get it... Now I got lockpicks.....

I found it much easier when I wrote the colour and the order on the map. The map is interactive so you know which section you are in.
Edit. The colour is now marked but wasn't in earlier versions.

That way sounds a smart way, nickie, although I guess everyone will find their own method.
It may take longer  but I set each flow one at a time. I turned all the flows on at the top except the one I wanted to set the 3 controls for - then I could check I had the right column by making sure there was no water flowing behind the control I was setting. Then I'd go back to the top, turn the water flow on and then turn the next flow off so I could set set that column.

I did write it all down, I get it, but it just doesn't work out for me. :nono: If only the levers could have numbers ....... :sly:
It isn't easy to join in on all notes and books to read in a different language + THIIEFSY LANGUAGE also!
I can't move on in this mission until I solve this puzzle ..... :erm: :eww: :nono:

Yes, I agree Nickie, that is easier. I like to get green done first either way.. :) Takes too long. Lol!:joke:

OK, full explanation of the entire cistern puzzle:
The plaques at the top should be treated like vertical maps of each shaft.
The water should be ON for all four shafts.
If a whole shaft is done correctly, that shaft's levers will become unfrobbable and a sound will play.
Once all four are done correctly, Garrett will make a comment and the gate underwater in the green shaft will open.
If you get lost, you can follow the pirate flags for the most direct route back up to the water control room.
The shaft colours are labelled on the automap.
A lever that is ON will have a purple light on next to it.
The correct lever sequences:
RED shaft:
Very top (water): On
Top: Off
Middle: Off
Bottom: Off
PURPLE shaft:
Very top (water): On
Top: On
Middle: Off
Bottom: Off
GREEN shaft:
Very top (water): On
Top: On
Middle: Off
Bottom: On
BLUE shaft:
Very top (water): On
Top: Off
Middle: On
Bottom: On

Can't agree with that - the first thing I do is to make sure that the water is turned on at the top of every column and have had no problems.
That did it for me. After that, no problems. Got the levers done within a matter of minutes. Now I'm stuck, I'm past that, opened the gate, how do you swim across that part of the rushing water, where the coffin is? Am I missing something? Or do I just suck at swimming. The water is moving so fast, I can't grab onto the edge. I've tried and tried. If that is the only way, then I guess I'm done. I'm bored with trying to get across that fast moving water.

The water was the solution for me too. It wasn't clear to me that I first had to turn on the water.
BrokenArts, I'm at that same spot, and it took some tries for me too, but if you manage to jump on the small green part on the right, directly next to the waterfall, you can jump over to the left part in 2 jumps. The first will put you in the water, but if you directly jump again, you'll climb on to the other side. Don't make the jump too far on the right. Good luck.
