Lord Soth: Imagine a clock face - the arrow points to noon. Hit the 2 fire guardians (the ones with the fire symbol) to the left of where the arrow is pointing; they are the "Fire Guardians of Morning".

The only mission with a somewhat similar setup which I remember is the second mission of "The Mirror of Return", where the player is transported into a partially flooded pyramid and finds
four tall towers with four guardians. The player has to climb all of these towers and do something near the top, I think.I do not remember any mission where exact duplicates of the
four towers
of the last room were present.
Thank you, I just checked the mission - it was indeed the one I meant. It just seemed to be very similar, but certainly not exactly the same ;)

WOW!!! That's all I can say about this series. Absolutely fantastic, loved this last mission. My fave so far

I sincerely hope there aren't any exact copies of the towers, since I made them from scratch! :laff:
There's an amusing note to be found original Thief ("The Sword"). It's an inquiry from the architecture firm that built Constantine's crazy mansion. Apparently the invoice was paid with raw gold (those nuggets Garrett finds scattered about) and the author is curious about the source of the unusual, but acceptable currency.
This might explain why the various tombs, temples and fortresses seem so familiar. The various demons, demigods and wizards are hiring/enslaving the same groups of architects, engineers and craftsmen that the Hammerites, Keepers and Pagans used throughout history.

hello taffers :D
can somebody write the location of all 3 secrets? only found one, so naturally I missed some loot (a little bit over 2000 right now)
I hoped to find one in the temple, but failed. maybe I've missed it :) anyway, I didn't wait earlier and finished this great campaign. I have all bonus objectives also. Only thing I'm missing is those 2 secrets...

1. At the start, facing away from the sea, turn to your right and work your way round the cliff edge. Falling off the ledge is not something you want to do.
2. In the Old Lighthouse, south of the map, below ground level - switch up the ladder.
3. In the SE ruins, Ancient Lighthouse area, over the wall behind the first building on your right.

I only had the second ;)
thanks Nickie! :D

This was a great use of about ~8 total hours of gaming. I got most of the secrets and loot, some of them hidden very well but not in super obtuse spots. Very cool. I was hoping there'd be
a night time return to robbing the town mission 1 at the end of mission 4 but it cut directly to mission 5
. I'd rate it up there in quality in spots with some of my favorites like Conspiracies in the Dark by Ramirez's Old Fat Burrick. No idea what the deal is with the 4th mission, by the way--cuts my framerate up a bit, but I suppose I should get a newer computer sometime.

Where do I find the key for grate with the lever at the top of the pyramid? (I presume it's the entrance to the catacombs)
