You gotta use youtube's "old embed code" to embed videos here.
Anyway, I decided to stop banging my head into a wall trying to kill the kings, so I went on a tour through Lordran checking out the other places that had become accessible. Got locked up in the Duke's Archives, escaped. Then went to Demon Ruins. Currently exploring the old city beyond the lava-fields. Leveling up like crazy. When I get back to the Abyss it's gonna be a more fair fight.

Planning to take on the Red Dragon in 1-2 soon - I'll see then whether I'll return to Body Form afterwards.
Quick update: I stayed in soul form after killing the dragon, so it really seems to work with the main bosses.
Also, got the Winged Spear and am planning to turn it into a Moon Winged Spear before long.

Did some grinding, free'd Big Hat Logan and bought some very powerful spells from him. After that the Four Kings weren't so difficult. I found that if you have powerful enough spells you can kill the kings before too many more come in and swarm you. So it's almost like the difficulty gets multiplied the weaker spells you have and the longer you take killing the individual kings. Like a handicap-system in reverse. That shit is just evil. :erg:
And yeah Ducky I guess what you're saying is get in close. I found that that was a good tactic. The other kings don't seem to get too close if you stay close to the one you're attacking.
Next up: Seath, or maybe the Bed of Chaos. Wish me luck.

Want any tips on how to fight/beat either boss so you don't bash your head into a wall? :D

Ah, if he took down the 4 kings, the other bosses will be easy. It's getting to those other bosses that's the pain in the ass.

Bed of Chaos is a lame gimmick boss :bored:
Seaths not so bad, he has a pretty big blind spot - but youll want resistance to a certain something.

Did Seath and Bed of Chaos tonight. Seath was alright, and I really liked the area leading up to the fight. Bed of Chaos was no fun. The fight itself wasn't so bad but, as I think someone here pointed out earlier, the 5 minute trek to get back to the boss every time you die is exhausting.
I'm about 45 hours into the game now, starting to feel like I've had enough of it. Still gonna finish it though, but before I head for the final boss I'll go explore The Great Hollow. Would love to get to the bottom of that place. Might also go see what Big Hat is up to in the archives.
