Only have about 30 minutes of playing time so far on this one. Unfortunately I probably will not finish it. Too many frobable doors that can't be lock picked.
I did find the precursor mask though.

OK. I don't normally post on threads about my missions, ( and don't ask me why. Call it superstition if you want to, although I am not superstitious. :erm: . Perhaps it is just because I don't like to blow my own trumpet. You all know I am not the best FM maker .) But I will make an exception this one time.
Right, the doors.
When I played the OM's, for example, there was one thing I did not like.
In the OM's, you could see which buildings you could or could not get into
simply by looking at the doors. If a building had a real door on it, you
knew you could get into that building, either by frobbing the door, lock picking it,
or finding a key for it. If a building did not have a real door on it, you knew you could not get into it.
This I thought was not realistic and true to life. So I put real doors on every
building in this mission.
So you have to try every door.
Tedious?................yes. Annoying?...............yes of course.
Just like it would be for a thief in real life I guess. Hence my decision to do this. :thumb: . But I knew some of you would not like this. Sorry to those of you who did not.
So, Mr sluggs, john9818a, you climbed out of my mission, well, congratulations, but I climbed out of TDS, and jumped off the other side into
the eternal blue sky.
So if the professional builders are guilty of this mistake, I trust you will forgive
an amateur like me. :p ;) .
Apart from the two things mentioned above, It seems that people think this is
a nice mission. I am happy with that. :D :thumb: .
I will try not to make the same mistakes again.

I have to add my voice to those who were annoyed by the frobbable doors. If you yourself can admit that they are frustrating and annoying, then they shouldn't be in the game. Real life? This isn't real life - that's why I'm playing it! It doesn't have to adhere to reality - and if it is annoying, then I'm no longer going to play it. I understand what you were trying to do, but I think you tried it and it didn't work - so hopefully you will take that into your next mission. Aside from that, the level was ok, but I got frustrated trying to find all those little gold medallions at only 5pts each - I gave up at 380 because my back and neck were killing me!
I really liked Close Encounters and Creepy Temple - I look forward to see what you do next! :thumb:

It's just a bit of harmless fun, besides, we can put what we damn well choose into our missions, as long as it doesn't break any rules. We're just giving something to the fans that's all, and... everyone leaving Dewdrops around is rather funny! :laff:

Why would I take offense? Gloria is a lively, friendly member of the forum that pretty much everyone likes and if people want to put Dewdrop in for her, then that's up to them. I can't imagine why it would annoy anyone. :confused:

I feel a total dolt. Nobody else has had any trouble finding the rosary?
I've been all through everywhere, everybody is unconscious or dead (including the ghost), and in particular I crawled over every inch of the church.
What did I miss?
