I just managed 60+ seconds on Harder for the very first time (woo hoo!), and somehow managed to stay alive for a further 9 seconds, which is actually a second longer than I've ever managed on plain old Hard difficulty.
I celebrated by getting pulverised on Hardest over and over and over again. New best time: 9.5 seconds.

You've got me beat on hard by a little over a second, but I've managed to go for a full 20 in hardest.
This game is evilly addictive.

My times are.
Hard 68
Harder 36
Hardest 15
Hardester 21!

Horrendous necro (someone should summon a mod) but I've still been dipping into this game every now and then and finally completed all levels. I've not really had much time recently to play games that require an extensive investment of time and this game has been perfect for a quick minute or two.
As I've played it I've found my ability to be highly reflective of my mood - far more than most other games. If tired or stressed then I've hardly been able to last any time at the higher difficulties. However, it's also been useful as a tool to relax as being able to "zone out" a little (but not too much) is crucial to success.
They're not very impressive when compared to the online scoreboards but my times are:
Hard: 195
Harder: 102
Hardest: 66
Hardester: 102
Hardestest: 97
Hardestestest: 67

Well your times are damned impressive from where I'm standing :) Congratulations!!
I was noodling away at Hardestest for a long while, and I managed 51.07 once, but never managed to push past that.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. It's quite interesting being able to observe those effects.

From the developer of VVVVVV you say? No thanks. Highly cliched, faux-retro indie platformer bollocks.
I'm so sick of SpaceChem being in practically every other PWYW game bundle. Talk about market over-saturation.
Starker on 5/10/2014 at 20:27
Holy non-sequitur, Batman. What does SpaceChem have to do with anything? It's made by a different developer and it has a completely different visual style and it's in an entirely different genre.
EvaUnit02 on 5/10/2014 at 20:38
It too is a highly-cliched indie puzzle game.
Starker on 5/10/2014 at 20:40
Highly cliched? How so? And which puzzle games are we talking about, exactly? Super Hexagon is a twitch action game while VVVVVV is a platformer.

Look, if EvaUnit doesn't get to whine about SpaceChem here, where CAN EvaUnit whine about SpaceChem? He had to shoehorn it in somewhere! Might as well lump his dumb complaints about SpaceChem in with his dumb complaints about VVVVVV and Super Hexagon.
